    What is a good vegetarian menu plan?
    I have been a vegetarian for 2 years now but I feel like I am not getting all the proper nutrients. I also want to lose weight and follow a 1200 calorie diet plan a day. I was wondering what are some good meal plans, any vegetarians out there what do you typically eat?

      Below is one example.

      Also to lose weight you have to do exercise – diet alone will not effect your weight very much.

      GRAINS
      6-11 servings daily of fiber and vitamin rich foods
      Example: 1 slice bread, 1/2 cup cooked rice, cereal or pasta,
      1 cup dry cereal, 1 bagel, 1 tortilla, 1 pita
      VEGETABLES AND FRUITS
      7-9 servings daily or more of phytochemical and vitamin rich foods
      Example: 1 cup raw vegetable salad, 1/2 cup cooked vegetables or
      fruits, 1/2 cup dark green and deep yellow vegetables,
      1/4 cup dried fruit
      DAIRY OR ALTERNATIVES
      2-4 servings daily of calcium and vitamin B12 rich foods
      Example: 1 cup dairy milk, or fortified non-dairy alternatives,
      1 cup low fat yogurt, buttermilk or cottage cheese. Non-dairy alternatives must be
      fortified with 25% or more of the RDA or RDI of calcium, vitamin
      B12, vitamin D and vitamin A
      LEGUMES, NUTS AND SEEDS
      2-4 servings daily of protein rich foods
      Example: 1/2 cup cooked dried beans or peas, 1 egg or 2 egg whites,
      1/2 cup tofu, 1/2 cup meat analogs, 1/4 cup of nuts or seeds or
      2 tablespoons of nut butter.
      FATS, OILS AND SUGARS (Food from group number five)
      2 tablespoons vegetable oils rich in linoleic acid,
      such as canola, olive soy, sunflower or corn.
      Use desserts sparingly, which are high in sugar and fat.

    HEELP ME MAKE A DIET PLAN MENU PLEEASE!!!?
    So since November of last year Iv lost about 20 to 30 pounds, and now I currently weight about 130 to about 135 pounds. I usually run about an hour a day, 6 miles, and I do some other weight lifting and cardio exercises. Iv been counting up how many calories I usually have a day and it dosent even reach 1000, usually somewhere between 700 to 800 calories. I know that its so bad for you, but I try to eat but I can’t because I feel really full. But I know I have to add more calories but i dont want to gain weight, Im just not sure how. Iv been feeling really tired lately and my period hasent come in quite some time and my grades have been slipping too, and im sure its due to malnutricione. Eventhough i eat tooons of fruits and vegetables.Can someone help me plan out a menu that would reach about 1200 calories a day. By the way, Im 15, 5″7. And please nothing thats very difficult to cook.

      If you are flexible, then you could eat as much as you want the nhave some fruit (plums?) that are high in fiber (worked with me today lol).

      as for the website, it has plenty of recipes that are organic because they are vegan, so LESS CALORIES!
      Just stick to the 3 meal a day thing

      the 5 SMALL meals a day to increase your metabolism to lose weight

    Where can I find a raw food diet plan?
    Preferably made by a real nutritionist, with recipes, no more than 1200 calories, and low glycemic. I read a book extolling the virtues of this kind of diet, but it didn’t have a daily menu. It’s very hard to get started on such an unusual diet without a menu and recipes.
    The most important thing to me is that the diet was designed by a nutrition professional. There are too many diets out there made by doctors with phds that have nothing to do with nutrition. Also, raw food diets are plagued by spiritual “gurus” who often don’t have any appropriate education in nutrition at all.

    1200 calorie diet, no fish please! Need menus?
    I need to follow a 1200 to 1250 calorie diet. I do not like fish, nor am I rich, and I need a menu plan that is realistic. Does anyone have a sample menu plan that doesn’t include fish that would work for me? Thanks.
    I don’t want preaching, or fake blogs on weight loss products. I want to do this on my own without taking diet pills, so please be aware that I am not interested in that type of stuff. I know that diet and exercise is the way to lose weight.

      Breakfast: 2 hard boiled eggs-140, half a grapefruit w/ one packet of splenda-50, gummy vitamins-15
      Lunch-1 tbsp of peanut butter w/ one slice of bread-165, apple-70, orange-80
      Snack-k20 protein water-30, orange-80
      Dinner-Campbells lowfat chunky soup-280, half grapefruit w/ one packet of splenda-50, cucumber w/ 2 tbsp low fat italian dressing-45
      Snack-banana-110, 1 large marshmellow (in the microwave for 15 seconds)-25, 1 cup of skim milk-90

      Total: 1200
